The Department trains students in the field of Textiles Science and Clothing Construction.
It also plays a vital role in textiles product development & apparel designing and Computer-Aided Textile Designing through its diploma programme.

You have to be a "GRADUATE" to enter into the Dept. Being a Women's University we admit only "Women"
MASTERS' & POST-MASTERS' DEGREE COURSES
Masters' with specialization in Textiles & Clothing
Average 'B' grade or equivalent marks (55%) in the Bachelor's degree with specialization in Textiles & Clothing / Home Science Graduates.
M.PHIL with specialization in Textiles & Clothing.
Master's degree in Textiles & Clothing with second class or B grade. Preference given to those in teaching profession.
PH.D in Textiles & Clothing.
Master's degree in Textiles & Clothing or a related discipline from a recognized University
POST GRADUATE DIPLOMAS
Computer Aided Textile Designing
Graduates with Textiles & Clothing specialization / Home Science Graduates.
