HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

The Department focuses on various facts of Human Growth & Development from conception through adolescence & adulthood to old age.

It also runs a laboratory nursery school, which functions as an observation and training centre.

The Department collaborates with IAPE, OMEP (India), AIWS, MSERT, BMC and Early Childhood Organisations.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).

COURSES & ELIGIBILITY :

You have to be a "GRADUATE" to enter into the Dept. Being a Women's University we admit only "Women"

MASTERS' & POST-MASTERS' DEGREE COURSES

Name of the Course	Eligibility Criteria
Masters' with specialization in Human Development	Average 'B' grade or equivalent marks (55%) in the Bachelor's degree with specialization in Human Development / Psychology / Sociology.
M.PHIL with specialization in Human Development.	Master's degree in Human Development with second class or B grade. Preference given to those in teaching profession.
PH.D in Human Development.	Master's degree in Human Development or a related discipline from a recognized University

POST GRADUATE DIPLOMAS

Early Childhood Education

Any Graduates, Preferably Social Sciences.
