EXTENSION EDUCATION

The Master's programme prepares students for professional services in educational, research and developmental institutions as well as extension/ community projects.

The Department lays emphasis on fieldwork in urban slum communities & exposure to rural communities.

The diploma programme equips students to work in varied media organizations.

COURSES & ELIGIBILITY :

You have to be a "GRADUATE" to enter into the Dept. Being a Women's University we admit only "Women"

MASTERS' & POST-MASTERS' DEGREE COURSES

Name of the Course	Eligibility Criteria
Masters' with specialization in Extension Education.	Average 'B' grade or equivalent marks (55%) in the Bachelor's degree with specialization in Composite Home Science / Extension Education / Psychology / Sociology / Management Sciences / Agriculture / Agriculture Extension.
M.PHIL with specialization in Extension Education.	Master's degree in Extension Education & Allied Disciplines with second class or B grade. Preference given to those in teaching profession.
PH.D in Extension Education.	Master's degree in Extension Education & Allied Disciplines from a recognized University.
